escript is unusable with NIFs (Native Implemented Functions) like the syslog module?
I reported a bug in an Elixir library which uses an Erlang library (syslog) which has NIF. The maintainer closed the bug report, saying that it is a more general problem: escript does not work with NIF and this is a very old issue.
Is it a correct conclusion? Does it mean I have no solution but to use something else (what?) than escript to create standalone executables?
