Html number input shows large numbers with scientific notation

Hi Elixir Forum,

I’m currently working on a form, where i prefill some values in the form.
I have a problem with a input field with the type number and a step of 0.25, where is shows numbers with scientific notation, ie. 5000.0 turns into 5.0e3, but i want it to stay as 5000.0.

Have anyone faced this problem before?
