Property-based testing on Elixir standard library
Is the reason that the Elixir codebase doesn’t have any property-based testing because it would be a terrible idea for it to have any dependencies?

You might want to check this thread: Questions about Property Testing / Stream Data, so I can’t seem quickly to spot a clear reason for why it was ultimately decided to not include tools for property testing in the standard library. I remember Jose Valim mentioning a reason elsewhere though

Thanks for taking the time to respond to my question. That thread gave me a lot of context, so thank you!
