Our team is seeking a backend engineer with senior level experience working with Elixir. We have developed a backend and currently require expertise to help with maintenance, security, and feature updates. This technology was developed over the past 2 years and is being used to support the launch of a new videogames marketplace.

Job title: Senior backend engineer
Job description: Our team is seeking a backend engineer with senior level experience working with Elixir. We have developed a backend and currently require expertise to help with maintenance, security, and feature updates. Developer can work remotely but must be able to speak English fluently and meet with our team during 9-5PM Eastern time (North America).
Salary range: $75-90K
Position on remote work: Remote work is a possibility. Some conditions apply.
Qualifications or experience required: 3+ years experience Elixir, 5+ years backend experience, 10+ years general software development experience.
What the successful job applicant will be working on: Supporting our marketplace backend.

About the interview process

Selected applicants will be given a basic Live test where they will have to demonstrate their skills via a shared screen via Skype, Zoom, or another screen sharing platform. Proficiency in Elixir is a must. Successful applicants will be judged on their ability to communicate, answer basic questions, and perform a Live test.
