Fullstack Elixir/Phoenix developer at Madrid
Coowry (www.coowry.com) is an end-to-end payment solution that reaches 90% of the world population. More than 5 billion of people. Imagine the challenge.
UX simple flows and functional and concurrent programming are the main drivers to face the challenge. Our stack, bottom-up:
- Postgres
- Erlang and Elixir
- Phoenix
- Elm and Haskell
We are seeking an on-site full-stack developer.
We expect you to have some demonstrable experience in Elixir/Phoenix (eg. contribution to projects in a Git hosting service).
Bonus:
- Discipline to ship early, often and to fail fast.
- Familiarity with statically typed functional languages.
- Grasp of multi-threading, and asynchronous programming.
- Familiarity with functional reactive programming.
- Background in data modeling and relational database theory.
- Experience in Test Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Delivery.
- Familiarity with NOSQL databases (eg. Redis.).
- Familiarity with message brokers (eg. RabbitMQ).
- Passionate about Web and APIs (eg. REST, GraphQL).
- Knowledge of state-of-the-art information security practices.
- Solid scripting skills (eg. shell bash scripts).
- Comfortable with plain text languages (eg. PlantUML, Org-mode, etc.).
