Krasen Penchev - looking for remote full-time employment

Hello,

I am Krasen Penchev, located in Varna. Bulgaria. I’m 27 years old and have been programming professionally for 5 years and a half.

I’m a senior developer at my current workplace where I do full-stack JavaScript. Over the years I’ve built projects with various technologies like Angular.js, React, Node.js, PostgreSQL, AWS (Lambda, SQS, SNS), RabbitMQ. In addition to my daily job I used to be a TA on the introductory databases course at my alma mater - UE-Varna. I have a master’s degree in Business Information Systems and even used to pursue a PhD in Informatics.

I feel like I’ve been stagnating in my professional growth for some time. I’ve been interested in Elixir since 2017 and I’ve been trying to use it in my spare time as much as possible. In other words, I have no real Elixir experience. I’m really interested in building the types of software systems that Elixir enables - fault-tolerant, scalable and predictable. There are no prospects to build such systems at the current company I work for.

To summarize, I’m looking for local or remote full-time employment using Elixir but I’m not hesitant to, again, do full-stack development.
