Polyglot engineer looking for new opportunities

Erik Nilsen
San Francisco, CA
remote and/or relocation is fine.

I’ve spent most of my career working with startups and tried to build my own last year. I’ve seen the product development life cycle in its different stages. I’m hoping to find a new opportunity to bring that knowledge with me and learn from experienced developers. I’ve seen how not to build a product and would like to properly learn how to build an efficient, maintainable, and scalable one. I consider myself a polygot developer with specific experience in Erlang/Elixir, Python, and Ruby. I am hoping to transition away from web development and move to backend, systems, infrastructure, or network engineering. Though the most important thing for my next role is the opportunity to grow as an engineer; all else is secondary.
